MORNING : Turtle Sanctuary Experience in Nungwi
Start your day around 8:00 AM with a drive to Nungwi village on the northern coast of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, visit the Baraka Natural Aquarium, a sea turtle rescue center where you can learn about the turtles’ life cycle, feed them, and even swim alongside them in a natural tidal pool. It’s an immersive and educational encounter that supports marine conservation.
LATE MORNING : Explore Nungwi Beach
After the sanctuary, walk down to Nungwi Beach, one of Zanzibar’s most beautiful coastlines. Enjoy time swimming in the crystal-clear water, sunbathing, or exploring nearby craft stalls. Optional activities like dhow tours or a visit to the traditional boatyard can be arranged.
AFTERNOON : Explore Nungwi Beach
