Kigali to Nyungwe
Leave Kigali with stops at the Genocide Memorial and Kimironko Market, visit the Ethnographic Museum in Butare and reach Nyungwe Forest by evening.
- Day 2
Chimpanzees and the canopy walk
An early morning chimpanzee trek through the tropical forest, then walk the canopy walkway high above the trees from the Uwinka Visitor Centre.
- Day 3
Lake Kivu
Transfer to Kibuye on Lake Kivu for an afternoon of lakeside leisure, with optional boat trips on the water.
- Day 4
Return to Kigali
Drive back to Kigali with an optional tea plantation visit en route before your departure.
