1. Day 1

   Arrive in Arusha

   Welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha and an evening briefing with your guide.

2. Day 2

   Lake Manyara

   Game drive through the groundwater forest and along the soda lake, from hippo pools to flamingo flocks.

3. Day 3

   Ngorongoro Crater

   Descend 600 metres to the crater floor, one of the densest concentrations of wildlife on earth.

4. Day 4

   Into the Serengeti

   Cross the highlands onto the plains and explore the central Serengeti on an afternoon game drive.

5. Day 5

   Full day Serengeti

   Sunrise-to-sunset game driving with a picnic lunch, working the kopjes and river lines of big-cat country.

6. Day 6

   Serengeti by day and dusk

   Morning game drive and late viewing of nocturnal wildlife, with an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn.

7. Day 7

   Oldupai Gorge to Tarangire

   Leave the Serengeti via the Oldupai Gorge archaeological site and arrive in Tarangire at sunset.

8. Day 8

   Tarangire and departure

   A final early game drive among the elephants and baobabs, then transfer back to Arusha for your flight.
