Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrive in Arusha

    Airport welcome, hotel transfer and a relaxed welcome dinner with your guide.

  2. Day 2

    To Tarangire

    Travel to Tarangire National Park for a first game drive among the baobabs.

  3. Day 3

    Full day Tarangire

    Morning and afternoon drives spotting elephant herds, river-line game and predators.

  4. Day 4

    Maasai village and Ngorongoro

    Visit a traditional Maasai village to learn how life is lived on the rangelands, then continue to the Ngorongoro area.

  5. Day 5

    Serengeti game drives

    Out on the plains among lion prides and wildebeest, with time to relax in camp in the afternoon.

  6. Day 6

    Balloon at dawn

    A hot air balloon flight over the grasslands at sunrise with a champagne breakfast, followed by an afternoon game drive.

  7. Day 7

    Fly to Zanzibar

    A final morning drive, then fly to Zanzibar for a Stone Town tour and two nights on the island.
