Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrive in Arusha

    Welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha and an evening briefing on where the herds are and how we will work the light.

  2. Day 2

    Tarangire National Park

    First day behind the lens among elephant herds and giant baobabs, dialling in settings with your guide.

  3. Day 3

    Deeper into Tarangire

    A full day around the Silale Swamp with strong predator viewing and dramatic backdrops.

  4. Day 4

    Ngorongoro Crater

    Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend to the crater floor for a day of close-range wildlife photography.

  5. Day 5

    Onto the Ndutu plains

    Cross Maasai rangelands to the southern Ndutu plains and settle in among the migration herds.

  6. Day 6

    Serengeti ecosystems

    All-day game driving through woodland, plains, lake and marsh habitats in the greater Serengeti.

  7. Day 7

    Off-road in Ndutu

    A full day with off-road access near the marshes and migration routes, waiting for the action to unfold.

  8. Day 8

    Cats and birdlife of Ndutu

    Photograph cheetah, lion coalitions and migratory birds in the acacia woodlands.

  9. Day 9

    Fly out

    An early drive to the airstrip and flight back to Kilimanjaro for departure.
